We are glad to note the increase in PPOs this year, said Sathyan, Advisor (Placement), IIT Madras, in explaining the causes of the increase. In order to evaluate the student and provide PPOs, we encourage more businesses to use the internship as a protracted interview process.
For the summer internship, Qualcomm, Microsoft, Honeywell, Texas Instruments, and Goldman Sachs are the top employers. Offerings in the PPOs for finance, analytics, and consultancy cover a total of 30% of the total offers made to students.
IIT Madras said, "The strong internship programme of the institute is a fundamental cause behind this accomplishment in PPOs. This procedure makes it easier for students to intern at businesses and results in PPOs. PPOs are continuously rising as a result of students' great internship performance, he added.
