New Delhi: IIT Madras has launched an industry-oriented certificate program in e-Mobility for working professionals for the academic session 2022-23. The program will be offered to participants in online mode and classes for the same will start from October 02, 2022.
As per IIT Madras, interested candidates and working professionals who wish to learn about e-Mobility Ecosystem and fundamentals in various technical areas can now submit their registrations for the online certificate course by September 30, 2022.
The IIT Madras Certificate Course 2022 is specially designed to introduce participants to the e-Mobility Ecosystem as well as to the concepts of vehicle development, power electronics, battery engineering, thermal management, and power trains among others.
The program will be offered through the IIT Madras’ Center for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE) in online mode and will include both 120 hours of video classes and 40 hours of online contact classes with the IIT Madras Faculty members.
Referring to the program, IIT Madras said, “A unique feature of the course is that four out of the nine modules in the program have industry professionals delivering content. It will provide an overview of the e-Mobility Ecosystem to participants''.
In addition to this, the program also includes various sessions on fundamentals of technical areas such as vehicle development, power electronics, battery engineering, thermal management, power trains, and EMI/ EMC, among other areas,” it further added.
Candidates who wish to apply for the online certificate program in e-Mobility can now submit their online registrations along with a copy of the required documents on the official website of IIT Madras. The selection for admission seats will be done on a first come first serve basis.
IIT Madras Director, V Kamakoti said “We are launching this Program in order to address the needs of the various Working Professionals across Industries and Departments''. With this initiative, the institute aims to increase its presence in the e-Mobility space, he added.
