New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in collaboration with the Association of Infrastructure Industry (India) launches Executive Excellence Programme (EEP) to upskill practising engineers and architects in the infrastructure sector of the country. It is a 2-3 days programmes at different places in the country.
IIT Kanpur launches the EEP programme which aims at equipping the practising engineers and architects with diverse tools which will enable them to deal with challenges better. It is a short duration course of two or three days held in different cities in India.
The programme director of the EEP will be Sudhir Mishra, Civil Engineering Department, IIT Kanpur. He said, “The arrangement is presently for one year. Whereas the details of the courses to be offered are being worked out, the first course is likely to be offered in July 2022.”
EEP will include courses in different fields such as infrastructure management, which includes developments in construction and other technologies, sustainable infrastructure and infrastructure facilities, contract management, and so on.
IIT Kanpur Introduces EEP: Highlights
The first course of the programme will be offered in July 2022. It is a 2 or 3 days programme held at different places in the country. The aim of the program is to upskill working engineers and architects in the infrastructure sector of the country.
The programme also aims at exposing the participants to the upcoming infrastructure creation and management with technological advancements. It will also focus on engineers from the government sector with developments in these areas.
The classes of the EEP programme will be held offline but in special cases, video conferences will also be held for optimal utilisation of the resources without compromising the materials available to the participants. Initially, the courses will be for specific industries and companies, later they might be open to all.
In other news, IIT Kanpur admissions are open for the academic year 2022-2023. Candidates can submit their applications for admission to the UG, PG Courses of IIT Kanpur.
