IIT Kanpur Admission 2022 Open for eMasters Degree Course; Apply till June 03

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur is inviting applicants for admission to its eMaster's Degree course on Quantitative Finance and Risk Management. Interested candidates can apply for the degree course at emasters.iitk.ac.in till June 03, 2022. 

As per IIT Kanpur, the course is offered by the Department of Industrial and Management Engineering (IME), Economic Sciences (ECO), and Computer Sciences and Engineering (CSE), and will be taught by the experienced faculty members of the institute.

Candidates applying for IIT Kanpur Course will have the option to complete their degree course between 1-3 years. The program will cover a total of 10 Core (C) and 2 Projects (P) modules focused on the application of Quantitative Finance and Risk Management. 

To apply for the degree course under IIT Kanpur Admission 2022, interested applicants are required to have Bachelor's Degree or a Master's Degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or 5.5/10 CPI from any recognized university or institute.

Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT Kanpur at emasters.iitk.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the "Apply Now" tab available on the home screen.

Step 3: Register yourself by entering your name and email address as required. 

Step 4: Fill out the application form as mentioned and upload a copy of the required documents.

Step 5: Review your application and click on submit to complete your application process. 

Informing about the program, IIT Kanpur's official website reads, "the program offers an opportunity to work on a maximum of four projects which provide hands-on skills in Quantitative Finance and Risk Management".

"It is specially designed to be beneficial for budding traders and finance enthusiasts who are planning to make a visible impact in the alternative investment segments" the official website further reads.

The selection of applicants for the IIT Kanpur Course on Quantitative Finance and Risk Management will be done on the basis of a selection test and interview round held on campus ground. A tentative schedule is expected to be released soon on the institute's official website.
