IIT Gandhinagar to Host Online JEE Open House Session on September 15; Check Details Here


New Delhi: IIT Gandhinagar will host a virtual JEE Open House 2022 Session for prospective BTech students on September 15, 2022. Interested students and parents can participate in the online session by submitting their registrations at iitgn.ac.in/openhouse.

According to an official release from IIT Gandhinagar, the virtual interactive event intends to introduce JEE Advanced 2022 eligible students and their parents to numerous opportunities offered in engineering disciplines at IITs and career options. 

IIT Gandhinagar JEE Open House event will feature talks with the deans of academic and student affairs, head of counseling, coordinator of student welfare project, and Professor Amit Prashant, the Director of the Institute.

"The attendees will have a great opportunity to get advice on their questions and reservations about undergraduate study at IITs. The IIT Gandhinagar Open Day, which is scheduled for September 15, 2022, is open to students and parents", IIT Gandhinagar informs.

During the event, students and parents can learn more about IIT Gandhinagar's values and culture, innovative curriculum, dual degree and double major programs, liberal branch change policy, scholarships and financial aid, and undergraduate research opportunities.

Additional information shall also be provided on global internship programs, on-campus job opportunities, new sports facilities and arts projects, career advancement services, and entrepreneurial opportunities during the JEE Open House session.

Professor Nithin George, Dean of Academic Affairs at IITGN, said, "Our experience is that prospective students and parents have questions like, 'Which branch best aligns with my interests?' and 'Can I do a BTech in two branches simultaneously?'" 

The IITGN JEE Open House is our endeavor to answer queries and offer ideas so students can make better choices. The event is created to help students to better understand the IIT system to make informed decisions.

"It is highly conceivable that IIT aspiring students and their parents may have many doubts and concerns at one of the most crucial junctures of their lives," stated Professor Sivapriya Kirubakaran, Dean of Student Affairs, IITGN. 

Adding to the statement, he said, “We hope to clear up any questions that prospective students may have about the different disciplines, programs, course structures, and opportunities available at different IITs, including IIT Gandhinagar”.

With this event, the institute aims to introduce students to various opportunities in the engineering field so that they will be better able to make decisions about the school, student life, and the vibrant campus we have created, he added.
