New Delhi: IIT Delhi has launched the inaugural batch of its Executive Programme in Supply Chain Management & Analytics for professionals who wish to upgrade their learner’s technical skills and enhance their management and leadership competencies.

As per IIT Delhi, the six-month program in Supply Chain Management & Analytics will be taught to participants in virtual mode. The course is designed to offer skills and knowledge in the field of analytics and supply chain management which will help them in their careers.
The course curriculum of IIT Delhi Program 2022 will introduce participants to specialized tools and software used in the technical field and offer exposure in the field of AHP, TOPSIS, DEA; Forecasting: Time Series & Regression Models, Optimisation, and Simulation.
Dr. Gourav Dwivedi, IIT Delhi said, “The program will build an in-depth understanding of fundamental and advanced topics such as Network Design, Risk-pooling, Bullwhip Effect, Logistics Decision Domains, Supply Chain Strategy, Sustainability, and Resilience”.
“It will enable the professionals to develop problem-solving abilities and skills for complex data analysis and help them transform their careers. It will prepare learners to fill high-growth roles like Demand Planners, Data Scientists, Supply Planners, and Operations Planners”.
The program will further include the concepts of Supply Chain Strategy, Frameworks, Performance Measures and Drivers, Descriptive, Predictive, Prescriptive, and Cognitive Analytics for Planning, Designing, and Managing Supply Chain Decisions.
Furthermore, the course will also introduce participants to the major concepts of Global Supply Chain, Industry 4.0 & SCM: AI-ML, 3D Printing, Digital Manufacturing, Blockchain Application in Supply Chain, Forecasting & Demand Management, etc.
Talking about the objective of this course, Dr. Gourav Dwivedi said, “Aligned with the objectives of the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan, the program is offered by the leading national institute to cater to the pressing need of the industry.”
