IIT Bombay MA- PhD Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for candidates for admission in MA- PhD programmes are given below:
- Candidates holding a bachelor’s degree (BA/ BCom/ BS/ BSc/ BE/ BTech) in any discipline
- Minimum 60% aggregate for GN/ EWS/ OBC (NC) and 55% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD category.
IIT Bombay MA- PhD Admission 2022: Selection Process
The selection process to get admission at IIT Bombay for MA- PhD degree is given below:
- Dual-degree Entrance Examination in Philosophy (DEEP).
- The test will consist of objective type questions (100 points) in the areas of logical reasoning and philosophy.
- Candidates also need to go through the personal interview round and a written essay on a topic based on the DEEP syllabus for those who qualify in Stage II.
- Candidates with GATE scores will be exempted from DEEP Stage I.
