IISc Bangalore PG Program 2021: Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore is now preparing to launch the Post Graduate Advanced Certificate Program in the field of Digital Manufacturing and smart factories for the next academic year.
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore's new program in digital manufacturing and smart factories will be offered to interested and eligible candidates for a duration of five months in partnership with TalentSprint.
IISc's PG Program 2021 will be coordinated by the Centre for Product Design and Manufacturing (CPDM). The program will be offered to interested aspiring smart factory strategy and management professionals.
Additionally, those who have an interest in IoT, automotive, aerospace, FMCG, pharma, energy, metallurgy industries will also be able to apply for the program once it’s released.

Interested and eligible candidates who wish to apply for the IISc Program 2021 will be able to do so from September 2021. The online application form for the same will be released on the official website of IISc at iisc.talentsprint.com/dmsf/.

Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore PG Program will include lessons from the highly educated and experienced faculty members of the institute. The lessons will include topics from various fields of product design and manufacturing, mechanical engineering, etc.

The Post Graduate Advanced Certificate Program will also cover domains like electronic systems engineering, materials engineering, computer science, and automation departments at IISc.
Referring to the program commencement, Amaresh Chakrabarti, Head of CPDM, IISc, said, “The certification program in Digital Manufacturing and Smart Factory will now allow us to offer our research expertise to train industry professionals and power Industry 4.0 adoption in India ''.
“The program will benefit from hands-on exposure and interactions with tools at IISc Smart Factory – a Common Engineering Facility Centre (CEFC) under the SAMARTH Udyog Bharat 4.0 Programme of the Department of Heavy Industries, Government of India” he added.
