IISc Online Course 2021-22: Indian Institute of Science (IISc) has recently launched a six-month-long online certificate course in Digital Health and Imaging for young professionals for the academic session 2021-22. 

Applicants who are interested in applying for the online certificate program of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) can now submit their applications for the same on the official website of the institute at iisc.talentsprint.com. 

To apply for the IISc Online Course 2021-22, students are required to have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant fields such as science, engineering, medicine, pharmacy, and management. Students also need to have at least 1 year of experience in their field. 

As per the official notice, “The program will be delivered by IISc’s Centre for Continuing Education (CCE). CCE delivers courses suitably designed to meet the requirements of target groups: Research & Development (R&D) Laboratories and Industries, Research Scientists/Engineers”.

“The IISc Online Program 2021 in Digital Health and Imaging will enable students to grow into competent managers of technology-intensive and data-driven organizations,” the official notice further reads.

Students who hold either a bachelor’s or masters in science, engineering, medicine, pharmacy, and management domain can now submit their applications for IISc Online Program 2021-22. The online application form for all eligible candidates is now available at iisc.talentsprint.com.

After the submission of the online application, the classes for IISc Online Program 2021-22 will be held as per the schedule. The class will only commence on Saturday and Sunday, and the schedule for the same will be shared with all candidates. 

Under this program, students will be introduced to modules on various digital health topics, such as wearable devices and physiological signal processing, machine learning basics for the real-world, deep learning in digital health, and imaging/vision among others. 

Referring to the program, the official notice of IISc reads, “Digitization is impacting the medical industry like never before. AI and Machine Learning are taking this field to a new level”.

“Medical professionals and caregivers are being encouraged to utilize datasets to extract clinically relevant information for patient diagnosis, drug development, precision treatment, and more” the notice reads.

Indian Institute of Science will start the online certificate program in association with TalentSprint. The program will be offered to all eligible and interested candidates in order to build strength and manpower in the field of math and programming.
