IIM Visakhapatnam Starts Boot Camp for 156 Startups; Check Details Here

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management, Visakhapatnam, has started an Ideation boot camp with 156 startups from across 14 States. The one month long bootcamp has been initiated as a part of IIM-V s ‘Social impactpreneurs programme’.

‘Social impactpreneurs programme’ was launched by IIM Visakhapatnam to nurture social entrepreneurship and skill development among young entrepreneurs.

The aim of the program is to address the gaps in the critical social sector that have been identified by NITI Aayog. As part of this 15-month multistage programme, a maximum of 25 startups will be incubated for one year at IIMV-FIELD. 

The incubated ones will get a prototyping grant and seed support fund from IIMV-FIELD.

Member of IIMV board of governor and Ekam Foundation managing trustee Ameeta Chatterjee has inaugurated the Ideation Bootcamp. 

IIM Vizag director Prof M Chandrasekhar said “This will enable the aspiring social entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into a successful business venture for the larger good of of the society.”
