IIM Shillong PGPEx Admission 2023 Open; Last Date to Apply is February 3

New Delhi: IIM Shillong has begun the application process for the Round 2 admission for the PGP Ex programme for the academic session 2023-24. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @www.iimshillong.ac.in, by February 3, 2023. 

IIM Shillong offers a full-time Post Graduate Program for Executives (PGPEx) Degree: Executive Master of Business Administration. Candidates seeking admission to the PGPEx programme can submit their applications till February 3, 2023.

Admission to the PGPEx programme will be based on their CAT / GMAT scores followed by their performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

The management institute offers PGPEx programmes in various specializations namely Information Technology & Systems, Finance, Control & Accounting, Economics, Quantitative Methods & Operations Management, and Strategic Management. 

IIM Shillong PGPEx Admission 2023: Highlights 

The admission process for PGPEx (2023-24) programme will be conducted in two rounds. Candidates can apply in any of the rounds; depending on the outcome of the first round, the remaining seats will be filled in during the second round. 

If some candidates are put on a waitlist at the end of the first round, they will be considered for admissions, subject to availability of seats, at the end of the second round.

IIM Shillong PGPEx Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized institution
• Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of full-time work experience (as on 31 March 2023) after bachelor’s degree. Relaxation up to 1 year is available for candidates with at least 1-year field experience outside India.
• Candidates must have qualified CAT with minimum 50 percentile (overall) or GMAT with atleast 500 score (overall)

IIM Shillong PGPEx Admission 2023: Selection Process

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of entrance examinations such as CAT or GMAT in the first round. 
• The shortlisted candidates will be later called for a group discussion on the basis of the percentile they acquire in their CAT exam.
• International candidates will also have to appear for a Writing and Verbal Skill Assessment Test (W&VSAT) over Skype call on the basis of their GMAT, test, and work experience. 
• Candidates who clear the group discussion will be further asked to appear for the personal interview.
• Candidates' final selection will be on the basis of percentile in CAT (GMAT for foreign students) and result in group discussion and personal interview (W&VSAT), test result, and work experience for a foreign candidate. 

IIM Shillong PGPEx Admission 2023: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of IIM Shillong @www.iimshillong.ac.in.

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
