Indian Institute of Management, IIM Kozhikode has collaborated with e-learning platform upGrad to offer a professional certificate program in HR management and analytics to all interested students.
Professional Certificate Program in HR Management of IIM Kozhikode will be offered to students who wish to build their careers in the field of the HR domain. The HR management course will be marked as the second edition of the online course offered by the institute.

Earlier, In March 2021, IIM Kozhikode launched a Professional Certificate Program in the Field of Data Science which was marked as the first online course of the institute.
IIM Kozhikode’s online learning program will be taught by the experienced IIM Kozhikode's Faculty members and will commence for a duration of five months on the official e-learning platform of upGrad.
The main goal of the IIM-K online program will be to increase the knowledge of students in the field of Human Resources and teach the latest trends, quantitative analysis applications, and management of human resource data.

Additionally, during the course commencement, students will be offered with a mix of synchronous and asynchronous techniques, along with study-based teaching methods. The course will commence for a duration of 120 hours.
In order to apply for the program, students are required to have a minimum bachelor’s degree along with 2-years of work experience or a master’s degree, any learner/professional.
Referring to the initiative, Phalgun Kompalli, Co-founder, upGrad said, “We are building a concrete course portfolio to deliver quality online learning at our learners’ doorsteps and our partnership with IIM Kozhikode for another course bears the testimony".

Professor T. N. Krishnan, IIM Kozhikode added that the recently launched program will help students in developing a different perspective, concepts, and skills in the field of HR management.
"Presented in a capsule form, the course focuses on developing applied knowledge and uses tools and frameworks to augment the existing capabilities of both experienced HR professionals as also those who would be relatively new to the field" he further added.
