New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu and the prestigious EGADE Business School Tecnológico de Monterrey Mexico have inked a MOU for academic collaboration and faculty-led joint research. Professor BS Sahay, Director of IIM Jammu, and Dr. Osmar Hazael Zavaleta Vazquez, Interim Dean of the EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico, signed the contract.
Professor BS Sahay, Director of IIM Jammu, shared the vision and expressed his aspiration for IIM Jammu to rank among the top 20 B-schools in the nation. This direction has been advanced by the most recent rating of 36th in the NIRF Rankings 2022. The two institutes' collaboration is a step in the right direction toward incorporating the top research and teaching methods from the world's top business schools. He claims that these partnerships are an essential component of IIM Jammu's global initiatives and that they will support the development of teaching, research, and cultural understanding as well as the reputation of both institutions abroad through faculty exchange, technology transfer, and research initiatives.
The institute is one of the few B-schools in the world to have obtained the distinction of obtaining the "Triple Crown," three coveted international accreditations (AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS), and is well-known for its excellence in management research and education, according to Dr. Osmar Hazael Zavaleta Vazquez, Interim Dean, EGADE Business School Tecnológico de Monterrey Mexico.
Collaboration between the two institutes will aid in the growth of our proficiency in a variety of crucial areas, including the creation of training and educational programmes, long-term planning, and institutional development.
