New Delhi: IIM Amritsar has announced that its MBA batch of 2020-22, has secured 100% placement. Moreover, this was the largest batch of students amongst all the third generation IIMs.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, this placement process at IIM Amritsar has witnessed a record-breaking yearly growth of 15.38% in the average CTC (Cost-to-company) figure.

IIM Amritsar is known to receive offers from many top tier companies. This placement season as well, the institute witnessed a huge number of participation of the leading corporate organisations across multiple domains and sectors.
Students received more than 230 offers made by the 110 companies visiting IIM Amritsar. Teams from the institution also achieved ‘podium place’ in prestigious national level competitions like Hero Campus Challenge 7.0, Flipkart WiRED, GMC, Mi Summit 3.0, Valuation Olympiad (Global Banking Challenge, Londo), VIP GEAR that further resulted in a record number of PPIs/PPOs.
This placement season also saw students receiving offers from 50 new companies that includes many organisations such as Acuity Knowledge Partners, Adani Group, Birlasoft, BMW, Cognizant, Dell, TATA Capital, Novartis, Ola Electric, HDFC Bank, Genpact, Reliance Retail and so on, as per the official statement of the Placement’s Committee.
Some of the previous companies that participated the placement drive and made good offers includes Accenture, Amazon, AU Small Finance Bank, Cipla, Crompton Greaves, Deloitte, DHL, DTDC, EY, Gartner, HCL, ICICI Lombard, IndiaMART, Infosys, iQuanti, Polycab, Tech Mahindra, TresVista, Xiaomi, etc.
