New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) admission 2022 deadline for January session has been extended further. Candidates to wish to apply for online and ODL mode UG and PG programs, can register for fresh admissions till March 31, 2022.
As per the latest update from IGNOU, students can apply through either of the official admission portals, ignouiop.samarth.edu.in and ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in for both UG and PG programmes. However, the last date has not been extended for semester-based and merit-based programmes. Check IGNOU Admission 2022

IGNOU Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Students taking admission in IGNOU have to meet certain eligibility criteria:
- Students taking admissions in any of the undergraduate programs must have completed their 10+ 2 with at least 50%-55% marks from a recognized board.
- For admission in postgraduate programs, students must have done at least graduation in relevant subjects with at latest 55% marks.
IGNOU Admission 2022: Selection Criteria
The candidates who have applied for any of the courses of undergraduate or postgraduate program are selected on the basis of:
- For undergraduates programs, students are selected on the basis of their marks in 10+2. For selection in the BBA (SM) course, an in-service management entrance exam is conducted by the university.
- For postgraduate courses students are selected on the basis of their marks scored in the last qualifying exam.
IGNOU Admission 2022: How to Apply?
- Visit the official website of IGNOU.
- From the Register Online tab, select the Fresh Admission option.
- Complete the registration process by entering the asked details.
- Now login again through your registration ID and password.
- Fill in the necessary details in the application form.
- Attach all the scanned documents asked for.
- Click on the application fee payment and select the mode of payment.
- Click on the submit button.
- Get a printout of the application form for future use.
