ICSI CSEET 2021 to be Conducted Again on May 10; Read Details Here


ICSI has announced that CSEET 2021 held on May 8, 2021, will be conducted again on May 10th. Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) will be re-conducted for candidates who failed to appear in the examination due to technical glitches on the scheduled date.

Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is a government recognised body that conducts CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET). Candidates who completed 10+2 are eligible to apply for the exam for admission to CS Executive Programme.

ICSI issued a notice that reads, “It has been noticed that due to some technical issues, some candidates could not successfully appear in the CSEET which was held on Saturday, May 8, 2021, through remote proctored mode. To facilitate such candidates, the Institute is giving one more chance to appear in the same. A re-test will be conducted on Monday i.e May 10, 2021. In case the concerned candidates will not appear in the test scheduled to be held on 10th May 2021, they will be marked absent in the CSEET.”


The notice on ICSI’s official website which was released yesterday (May 9, 2021), allowed students to take the test who had failed to take it on the first attempt. Other important credentials such as batch timings, user ID and password for CSEET 2021 will be provided to the candidates separately via text message or email.

CSEET 2021 Examination Pattern 

The CSEET examination will be conducted in a computer-based MCQ-type question pattern. There will be 140 questions in the paper and the total marks will be 200. Candidates will get 120 minutes to solve the entire paper.

CSEET 2021 Admit Card Released

Earlier, the ICSI CSEET 2021 admit card was released on April 28, 2021, in online mode at the official website of ICSI: icsi.edu. Given the COVID-19 crisis across the nation, most of the examination conducting bodies have already taken relevant steps to switch to an online mode of examinations. 

Downloading Safe Exam Browser (SEB) in advance on a personal laptop or desktop is a requirement for appearing in CSEET. Check the Process of downloading SEB in advance in the computing device to be used and read them in detail for appearing in CSEET. 

Note: The examination on May 10th 2021 will be the last chance to appear in CSEET, a failure which will result in the candidate being marked "Absent" and no further communications will be entertained by ICSI, in this respect.
