The Pondicherry University (PU) was established as a Central University in Puducherry in the year of 1985 by the Government of India. The university has 15 Schools, 37 Departments and 10 Centers which are offering 175 Postgraduate & Research Programs for the students. The university is also accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with A Grade and is recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC).
The university has its own Three Campuses in which the Main Campus of Puducherry and Off-campus of Karaikal offers Master of Commerce (M.Com.) courses to the students.

Application Process for M.Com. Course:-
The candidates can apply for taking the admission in M.Com course in Pondicherry University through Entrance Exam which will be conducted by the University in Different Centers. The entrance exam will be based on Objective Type of Questions along with the aim to assess the candidate’s basic understanding about Accounting Concepts, Organizational Behaviour, Taxation, Insurance, Statistics, Costing, Auditing, Banking, Foreign Trade etc.
- The candidates can get the application form through Online by visiting the official website of the university i.e. pondiuni.edu.in and will have to submit it by following the procedure which given by the university.
- The candidates can get the application through Offline also by the university campus.
- The candidates will have to pay Rs. 250/- as an application fee for each course (Rs. 125/- for SC/ST candidates and Rs. 1,000/- for NRI & Overseas candidates) and the payment will be done through Online or Offline mode.
- If the candidates will make the payment through Online, they will have to take a printout of filled online application form and send it to the Headquarter on the below-mentioned address

- The candidates will also apply separately for each course. They will have to fill the complete & correct information in each column after going through the prospectus.
Note: – If wrong information (Like Wrong Course Code, Center Code, and Category of the candidates) will be filled by the candidates then the application will not be submitted by the university side.
