Lovely Professional University or LPU is a private professional University. It is the largest self-financing University offering programmes in Medical, education, Law, Engineering, Commerce, Management, Architecture, and Pharmacy etc.
It offers Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P. Ed) of 2 years duration. The admission in this course is through entrance test i.e. LPUPET.
LPU B.P. Ed Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates applying for the admission must have:
- Completed bachelor’s degree in any discipline with aggregate 50% marks
- Participated in inter college/ Inter zonal/ District/ school competition in sports and games
- Must be recognized under Association of Indian Universities/ Indian Olympic Association/ School Games Federation of India/ Government of Indi
- Scored well in LPUPET 2015
Or
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with 45% marks and valid score in LPUPET 2015
Or
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Physical education as compulsory or elective subject and valid score in LPUPET
- Pass in Bachelor's Degree with participation International Competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in National/ Inter-university/ State competition or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College/ Inter-Zonal/ District/ School competition in sports and games recognized by respective federations/ AIU/ IOA/ SGFI/ Govt. of India
- Pass with 45% aggregate marks in Graduation and at least 3 years of teaching experience for deputed in-service candidates (i.e. trained physical education teachers/ coaches) and also valid score in LPUPET 2015
LPU B.P. Ed Application Process:
- Application Form is available as Pre Application Supplement of LPUPET 2015
- Application fee is INR 900
- Offline Application: application can be obtained from University campus/ Camp offices by paying cash or Demand Draft drawn in favor of "Lovely Professional University" to be payable at Jalandhar
- Semi Online Application: For Semi-online application, candidates can visit official website www. lpu.in and fill the application form along with uploading softcopy of photo and signature. Take a print out of completed application.
- After filling the form, payment can be made online through Net Banking/credit card/ debit card.
