CBSE, CISCE (ISC & ICSE) will conduct only one exam for the academic year 2022-23. All the other state boards are also likely to follow the similar pattern in line with CBSE Board. CISCE, Maharashtra, Bihar, CBSE, Karnataka and some other boards have already released the date sheet for the board exams 2023. Read on to get latest updates for board exams.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
CBSE class 10 and 12 date sheet has been released by the board on December 29, 2022. CBSE will conduct the board exams of both the classes from February 15, 2023. The class 10 exams will be conducted from February 15 to March 21, 2023 while that of class 12 will be held from February 15 to April 5, 2023. The practical exams will be conducted from January 2 to February 14, 2023. Students can download the complete CBSE class 10 date sheet and CBSE class 12 date sheet from the official website cbse.gov.in.
Earlier, CBSE class 12 sample papers 2023 were released by the board. Candidates can download the CBSE 12th sample papers from the official website. Along with the sample paper, the board has also released marking scheme for all the subjects.
CBSE class 10 and 12 registration process for private candidates ended on September 30, 2022. Candidates could register by visiting the official website of CBSE. Steps to register are as follows:
- Visit the official website of CBSE – cbse.gov.in
- Go to the candidates log in section.
- Fill all the details in the application form.
- Pay the application fee through debit and credit card/net banking/UPI etc.
- Submit and download the application form for future reference.

PMYASASVI Scheme for Classes 9 to 12
PMYASASVI Scheme under the Ministry of Education invites applications for scholarship of INR 75,000.00 to INR 1,25,000.00 per year. A total of 15,000 candidates from OBC, DNT and EBC categories will get the scholarship depending upon the eligibility criteria.
PMYASASVI Scheme: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and De-notified semi nomadic or nomadic tribes (DNT) can claim for the scholarship. The allotment of scholarship is subject to the below mentioned criteria:
- The annual income of the parents/guardian shall not exceed INR 2,50,000.
- The student shall be studying in a top class school in class 9 or 11. Check Eligible School List Here
Documents Required:
- Income certificate of the parents.
- Caste certificate of the candidate issued by District Magistrate/ Additional Magistrate/ Collector/ Deputy Collector/ D.C/ SDM/ 1st Class Stipendiary Magistrate etc.
- A functional bank account in which the UID/Aadhaar of the candidate shall be linked.
- A functional mobile number that shall be linked to Aadhaar.
Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE)
CISCE has released the time table for class 10 and 12 board exams on December 1, 2022. The time table is available on the official website cisce.org.
- As per the ICSE date sheet, the class 10 exams will be conducted from February 27 to March 29, 2023.
- The theory exam dates for class 12 are from February 13 to March 31, 2023.
The results of both the classes will be released in May 2023, tentatively.

National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)
NIOS 10th and 12th October theory exams were conducted from October 12 to November 23, 2022. The practical exams were held from September 16 to October 1, 2022. The date sheet for the April public exams will be released in February 2023, tentatively.
- The board has also started NIOS Block II registration process.
- Candidates can register to appear for the October/November 2023 exams from September 16 to January 31, 2023, without any late fee.
The board also conducts ODE i.e. NIOS On Demand Examination for the candidates. This exam can be taken by the students whenever they feel prepared for the exam.
Assam Board
Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has released Assam 12th date sheet 2023. The exams for the class 12 will be conducted from February 20 to March 20, 2023. The practical exams will be held from January 25 to February 15, 2023. The routine for the Assam class 10 has also been released. As per the Assam HSLC routine, the class 10 exams will be conducted from March 3 to March 20, 2023.
- SEBA has announced that for AY-2022-23, question papers for the English, Mathematics, Science and Social Science examinations Class-10 (Unit Test, Half-Yearly, Pre-Board & HSLC) will comprise of 50% objective type and 50% descriptive type of questions.
- Assam Board has reduced the AHSEC syllabus by 30% for the academic session 2022-23.
Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB)
BSEB has released the date sheet for both classes 10 and 12 on December 9, 2022. The BSEB 12th exam dates are from February 1 to February 11, 2023 and the class 10 exams will be held from February 14 to February 22, 2023.
- Students can download the Bihar Board 10th time table from the official website.
- Bihar Board has also released the admit card for class 10 exams on January 8, 2023.
- BSEB 10th registration for board exams started on August 8, 2022 and the last date to apply for matriculation exam was August 14, 2022.

Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC)
Jharkhand Board has released the date sheet for class 10 and 12 on January 7, 2023. JAC 12th exam dates and class 10 date sheet are available on the official website jac.jharkhand.gov.in.
- The exams of both the classes will begin from March 14, 2023.
- The class 10 board exams will end on April 3, 2023 and class 12 on April 5, 2023.
Students who will be appearing for the board exams need to complete the registration process to be eligible to sit for the exam.

West Bengal Board
West Bengal class 10 and 12 exam dates had released in the month of June 2022. As per the date sheet, WB HS exam dates are from March 14 to March 27, 2023. The class 10 exams will be conducted from February 23 to March 4, 2023. The complete date sheet can be downloaded from the official website of the board.

Odisha Board
Odisha Board has released the date sheet of class 12 on January 2, 2023. The Odisha CHSE time table is released on the website chseodisha.nic.in. As per the time table, the class 12 exams will be conducted from March 1 to April 5, 2023.
BSE Odisha has also announced the exam dates for class 10. The class 10 board exams will be scheduled from March 10 to March 17, 2023.
- The board is yet to release the complete Odisha 10th time table.
- Students will be required to visit the website bseodisha.nic.in to check the class 10 date sheet.
Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE)
CGBSE has released the time table for class 10 and 12 on December 16, 2022. As per the CGBSE 12th time table, the theory exams of class 12 will be held from March 1 to March 31, 2023. The practical exams will be conducted from January 10 to January 31, 2023.
The CGBSE 10th time table is also available on the official website and the exams for class 10 will be conducted from March 2 to March 24, 2023. The practical exams of class 10 will also be conducted from January 10 to January 31, 2023.
Andhra Pradesh Board
Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh has released the intermediate exam time table on December 27, 2022. According to the AP inter time table, the 2nd year exams will be conducted from March 16 to April 4, 2023. The exams for the 1st year will be held from March 15 to April 3, 2023.
The date sheet for class 10 is also released on January 2, 2023. According to the AP SSC time table, the class 10 exams will be conducted from April 3 to April 18, 2023.
Punjab School Education Board (PSEB)
PSEB has announced the exam dates for class 10 and 12 final board exams. However, the complete subject-wise date sheet is yet to be released by the board.
- The PSEB 12th exam dates will be from February 20 to April 13, 2023.
- The class 10 exams will be held from March 21 to April 18, 2023.
The complete PSEB 10th date sheet and 12th exam date PDF will be released on the official website pseb.ac.in.
Tamil Nadu State Board
Tamil Nadu Board has released the class 10 and 12 time table on its official website on November 7, 2022. Students can download the complete TN 12th time table from the official website dge.tn.gov.in.
- TN HSC exams will be conducted from March 13 to April 3, 2023.
- According to the TN 10th exam time table, the final exams of class 10 will be conducted from April 6 to April 20, 2023.
Kerala Board of Public Examination (KBPE)
Kerala Board has released both SSLC and Plus Two exam time table on its official website. As per the Kerala SSLC time table, the class 10 exams will be held from March 9 to March 29, 2023.
- The SSLC practical exams are scheduled from February 1 to February 25, 2023.
- The Kerala plus two exams will be conducted from March 10 to March 30, 2023.
Students can download Kerala plus two exam time table from the website – dhsekerala.gov.in.
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education
Maharashtra Board 10th and 12th time table has been released on December 31, 2022. Students can download HSC and Maharashtra SSC time table from the official website mahahsscboard.in.
- Maharashtra HSC exams will be conducted from February 21 to March 21, 2023.
- SSC exams will be held from March 2 to March 25, 2023.
Uttar Pradesh Board
UP Board class 10th and 12th exams will be conducted from February 16, 2023. The board has announced that it will be conducting exam only once for the session 2022-23, similar to CBSE Board. However, the board has curtailed the syllabus by 30% and only 70% of the syllabus will be applicable for the exam.
- The time table for the both the classes 10 and 12 has been released on January 10, 2023.
- Students can check the UP Board 10th time table and UP class 12 time table from the official website upmsp.edu.in.
- The class 10 board exams will be conducted from February 16 to March 3, 2023.
- The exams of UP class 12 will be held from February 16 to March 4, 2023.

Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE)
Haryana Board has released the date sheets for class 10 and 12 board exams on January 11, 2023. HBSE 10th date sheet and Haryana Board 12th time table are available on the official website bseh.org.in.
- The exams for HBSE class 12 will be held from February 27 to March 28, 2023.
- The class 10 board exams will be conducted from February 27 to March 25, 2023.
Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education
Goa Board term 2 exam dates 2023 for class 10th and 12th has been released by GBSHSE. Students can check the complete date sheet of both the classes from the official website www.gbshse.in.
- According to the Goa SSC time table, the class 10 term 2 exams will be held from April 1 to April 22, 2023.
- The term 2 board exams of class 12 general stream will begin on March 15 and will end on March 31, 2023.
- The vocational stream exams of 12th class will be conducted from March 16 to March 27, 2023.
Goa Board 10th exam for term 1 were conducted from November 10 to November 29, 2022. The exam for class 12 were conducted from November 10 to November 25, 2022.

Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education
Rajasthan Board has released the time table for class 10 and class 12 on January 13, 2023. RBSE 12th time table and the class 10 date sheet are available on the official website rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
- RBSE 12th exams will be conducted from March 9 to April 12, 2023.
- The theory exams of class 10 will be held from March 16 to April 11, 2023.

Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB)
Karnataka Board has released the time table for SSLC and 2nd PUC exams on its official website. Karnataka 2nd PUC time table was released on November 28, 2022 and the exams will be conducted from March 9 to March 29, 2023.
As per the Karnataka SSLC time table, the board exams of class 10 will be held from March 31 to April 15, 2023.
Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE)
HPBOSE will conduct class 10 and 12 examinations in two terms this year also. HP Board 12th term 1 exams were conducted from September 15 to October 6, 2022.
- The board has released the tentative HP Board 12th date sheet for term 2.
- According to the tentative date sheet, the term 2 exams of class 12 will be conducted from March 10 to March 31, 2023.
HPBOSE 10th term 1 exams were conducted from September 15 to October 1, 2022. As per the tentative HP Board 10th date sheet released by the board, the term 2 exams will be held from March 11 to March 31, 2023. The final date sheet will be released soon by the board.
Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board
Gujarat Board has announced the exam dates for class 10 and 12. The SSC exams will be held from March 14 to March 28, 2023. GSEB HSC board exams for general and vocational stream will be conducted from March 14 to March 29, 2023 and for science stream from March 14 to March 25, 2023.
- The practical exams of class 12 will be held from February 20 to February 28, 2023.
- The board has released detailed GSEB HSC time table and GSEB 10th date sheet on January 3, 2023 on its official website gseb.org.
Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE)
JKBOSE is expected to release the date sheet for class 10 and 12 in January 2023, tentatively. Students will be able to download the date sheets from the official website jkbose.nic.in.
As per the expected JK Board 12th date sheet, the 12th class exams for hard zones will be conducted from March 8, 2023 and for soft zones from March 4, 2023, tentatively. The exams of class 10 will start from March 9, 2023 in soft zone areas and from March 11, 2023 in hard zones, tentatively.

Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education (MBOSE)
Meghalaya Board has released the date sheet for class 10 and 12 final exams. As per the MBOSE SSLC routine, the theory exams of class 10 will be held from March 3 to March 17, 2023. The class 12 theory exams will be conducted from March 1 to March 28, 2023 and the practical exams from February 10 to February 20, 2023.

Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE)
Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has released the detailed time table for both the classes 10 and 12. Students can download the date sheet of the respective classes from the website mpbse.nic.in.
- The MP Board 10th exam dates are from March 1 to March 27, 2023.
- The theory exams of class 12 are scheduled from March 2 to April 1, 2023.
- The practical exams of both the classes will be held from February 13 to March 25, 2023.

Telangana Board of Secondary Education
Telangana Board has announced the tentative exam dates for TS inter and SSC exams. As per the tentative TS inter time table, the exams of the 1st year will be held from March 15 to April 3, 2023 while that of the 2nd year from March 16 to April 4, 2023.
The SSC board exams will be conducted from April 3 to April 13, 2023, tentatively. The complete TS SSC time table will be available soon on the official website.
Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BOSEM)
Manipur Board class 12 time table has been released on January 13, 2023. The class 10 date sheet is yet to be released by the board. Students can download Manipur Board 12th time table from the official website cohsem.nic.in.
- The theory exams of class 12 will be conducted from February 23 to April 1, 2023.
- The practical exams are scheduled from April 1 to April 20, 2023.

Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE)
Uttarakhand Board has released the date sheet for class 10 and 12 on January 6, 2023. Students can download the date sheet of their respective classes from the official website ubse.uk.gov.in.
- As per the UK Board 12th date sheet, the class 12 exams will be held from March 16 to April 6, 2023.
- The board exams of class 10 will be conducted from March 17 to April 6, 2023. Students can check the complete UBSE 10th date sheet on the official website.
- The exams of both the classes will be held in a single shift from 10 AM to 1 PM.
