How to apply for Kerala University M.Sc. Admission 2015?
- Candidates applying for M.Sc. can have to register themselves on the official website of Kerala University- http://admissions.keralauniversity.ac.in by clicking on online admission link of the kerala university
- After that candidate should register themselves with a username and password and should be retained for the future use
- Candidate should download a copy of challan slip and submit the application fees at any branch of State Bank of Travancore
Kerala University M.Sc. 2015 Registration Fees
For general Category candidates the application fees is Rs. 250 and for SC/ST candidates fees is Rs. 100
Kerala University M.Sc. 2015 Admission Procedure
The admission of deserving and eligible applicants will be based on the Entrance exam and attainment of marks in their previous exams. Also the weightage of the both exams is set to 50-50%. Therefore candidates, who do not satisfy either of these parameters, will be disqualified from admissions.
Kerala University M.Sc. 2015 Reservations
Apart from the merit seats, the seats earmarked for SC/ST candidates in Government/ Aided/ Self-financing Colleges will be filled by the University. In addition to this, SEBC seats in Government /Self-financing colleges also will be filled by the University.
Seats will be reserved for the following categories in Govt., Aided & Self- financing Affiliated Colleges for various PG Courses.
Reservation for Nominees — An additional seat is there for the students from the Union territory of Lakshadweep. This is seat should not be filled by any other candidate. Moreover two seats are reserved for the students from Jammu and Kashmir. Such students should apply directly to the college concerned.
Reservation for Persons with Disabilities – 3% of the total seats will be set apart exclusively for Physically Handicapped candidates in Government Colleges.
Special Reservation/Sports Quota Admission – At least one seat shall be reserved for Sports candidates in each subject for the PG Courses

Preparation of Rank list
The Candidates should be ranked on the basis of CGPA CGPA[S]* plus the CGPA of the core .ie A= {(CGPA(core course) x 2 x Core course Credit) + (CGPA(Complementary course I) x Complementary course I Credit) + (CGPA(Complementary course II) x Complementary course II Credit)}/ (Total Credit for core x 2 + Total Credit for complementary —I + Total Credit for complementary —II) B=A*25 ( * symbol for multiplication) B is then normalized to 1000.
The rankings of candidates should be based on the total marks obtained for the optional subjects plus the marks obtained in the optional main subject.
Kerala University M.Sc. 2015 Trial Allotment
Trial allotment is conducted before first allotment of the colleges based on the options registered by the candidates to give an idea about their chances to get admission to their desired course and college based on the ranks and marks of the applicant. The trial allotment do not gives a guarantee about the admission in a college or a course in actual allotment
