Punjab ITI Admission 2022 is conducted by the Department of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Government of Punjab to offer admission in ITI courses. Students can get admission in various engineering and non-engineering fields through Punjab ITI admission.

Department of Technical Education and Industrial Training has begun the online registration for round 1 counseling on July 1. Candidates can apply for the Punjab ITI round 1 counseling by July 11. The first seat allotment list will be declared on July 13, 2022.

The duration of engineering and non-engineering courses under Punjab ITI varies from 6 months to 24 months. The Department of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Punjab grants students admission in trade courses in the 349 Industrial Training Institutes across Punjab.

Punjab ITI Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

• The minimum age of the applicants should be 14 years and a maximum of 40 years in age.
• Applicants must have completed their class 10 or class 8 or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Candidates must be native to the state of Punjab and a citizen of India.

Punjab ITI Admissions 2022: Application Process

• All the aspiring students of Punjab ITI should apply within the specified time limit.
• It includes filling of application form, counselling process, and at last the final admission procedure. 
• Punjab ITI 2022 Admission Procedure will be on the basis of the merit list. The merit list will be released only for those students whose application form will be accepted. 
• Counselling will be the final step for admission into ITI courses.

• Punjab ITI Application fees have to be paid by the applicants. The application fee can be paid through online mode too.

Punjab ITI Admission: How to Apply?

• Visit the official authority website
• On the homepage button, click on the “Click Here to Apply for Admission to Punjab ITI” button.
• Further, the students will have to click on the “New User Registration” button at the bottom of the web page.
• A form will appear on your screen which the students will have to fill carefully. Fill up the form using all the required details such as personal details, educational details, address, etc.
• Upload the necessary documents such as passport size photographs, etc. in the prescribed format.
• Crosscheck all your filled information and click on the Submit button.
• The students will have to pay the application fee using any online mode including debit/ credit/ net banking.
• After successful submission of the application fee, download and store the Punjab ITI Application Form 2022 for further reference.

Punjab ITI Admission 2022: Merit List 

The conducting authority will prepare the merit list on the basis of your marks secured by the students in their qualifying examination.

• The result will be declared as a provisional merit list on the official website soon
• The combined merit list (CML), issued by the authorities, will have the names of the students who are chosen for the further process based on the marks secured by students in the qualifying exam. 
• Separate merit lists will be announced for trades candidates that require 8th standard passing and those that require 10th standard passing.
• Students will be able to download Punjab ITI 2022 Merit list from the official website through online mode. 
• Students will have to enter their login credentials to check the result.
• Authority will likewise release the final merit list in the month of July. Students will be able to check their rank through the merit list.
• Selected Students will then further receive call letters for the counselling process.

Punjab ITI Admission 2022: Counselling Process

After the student has been selected and cleared in the Document verification round, they will be called for the following round which is counseling. The students will actually want to participate in the counseling procedure once they have been selected in the Merit List. It is significant that the student comes for the counseling as per schedule at the reporting centre and also should carry the required document. Students will actually want to fill choices and seats will be allotted to the student on the basis of their rank, after the document verification round. • To take part in the e-counseling process students have to register themselves on the counseling website.
• After filling out all the asked details, the student will take the printout of his filled choice and have to visit the nearest DI for verification of their documents.
• After verification of all your documents students will be eligible for Choice filling.
• The seats will be allotted to the student according to the choices they have filled.
• If a seat is not allotted students have to participate in further counseling by filling the choices again.

• If a student has been allotted a seat, to get a better place in the course or institute, the student can participate in the 2nd or 3rd online counseling process.

Punjab ITI Admission will be given to students after the verification of documents & fee submission. The following documents will be needed:

• 8th class mark sheet
• 10th mark sheet & certificate
• Migration Certificate
• Transfer Certificate
• Category Certificate (If Applicable)
• Seat Allotment Letter
• Valid Photo Identity Card

Punjab ITI Admissions 2022: Seat Reservation

• Students must be Permanent/Local resident of Punjab and have procured a proper Local Residential Certificate & Caste Certificate issued by a proper authority assigned by the Government of Punjab to get the reservation as per the Reservation Policy of Government of Punjab.
