Haryana BTech Admission 2023 are conducted by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). For candidates who wish to seek Haryana BTech Admission have to qualify for the JEE Main exam. The Haryana BTech Admission usually starts in the month of September or October. 

NTA released the JEE Main 2023 Session I results on February 07, 2023, to offer Haryana BTech Admission 2023 in various engineering colleges in Haryana. Registrations for JEE Main Phase II commenced on February 14, 2023, and are ongoing till March 12, 2023. 

Haryana BTech Admission is done based on the national-level entrance exam JEE Main. Candidates must have a valid JEE Main score to seek Haryana BTech Admission 2023. BTech / BE is a four-year undergraduate engineering program. Haryana BTech Admission 2023: Eligibility

To be eligible to secure Haryana BTech Admission, the applicant must follow the given eligibility criteria.

  • Candidates must have passed in 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects

  • Candidates must score a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in their 10+2

  • Candidates who have passed a Diploma (in Engineering and/or Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved categories are also eligible to apply for Haryana BTech Admission 2023.

  • Admission in BE / BTech shall be made on the basis of combined merit of JEE Main-2023 conducted by NTA.

  • Applicants first need to register themselves on www.onlinetesthry.gov.in. This will give them a unique ID and this is used to upload all the documents and verify them.
  • Here, applicants will be asked for all their details that are related to the course.
  • The applicants must fill it out diligently.

Haryana BTech Admission 2023: Results

  • Candidates should visit the website www.techadmissionshry.gov.in and click on the “New Registration” option and submit your details of Course, Roll number, application number, Name, Date of birth (as per JEE-Main admit card in case of BE / BTech course).
  • Please check all the details twice, before the submission.
  • Candidates will then be redirected to the “Registration Confirmation” page where all entered registration details are displayed for confirmation once again. If you find any details that are incorrect, those can be corrected by using the option “Edit Registration details” otherwise “Click here to continue”.
  • This generates an ID and password which should be used for future use.
  • Then the candidates are required to fill out the colleges of their choice.
  • They will then be allotted a seat in one of those colleges if they have the merit.
  • The selected applicants are then expected to report the institution and pay a token fee.
  • If the applicants aren’t happy with the institution then they can register for the second round.
  • The second round will have a similar process.

Ques: What are the documents required to be uploaded online for verification by the institution to seek Haryana BTech Admission 2023?

Ans: The following documents are to be verified online by the allotted institute at the time of Online reporting as uploaded by the candidate during registration for Centralized Online counseling:

  • Haryana Resident Certificate (In case the candidate has not passed the qualifying exam from the School situated in Haryana).

· Category Certificate i.e. SC/BCA/ BCB/ ESM/ FF/PH, if applicable.

  • Relevant Kashmiri Migrants (KM) certificate in the support of their claim from the competent authority or Relief Commissioner.

· Economically  Weaker  Section  (EWS)  income  and  asset  certificate  

  • Annual Parental Income Certificate (income from all sources), in case of BCA, BCB, and TFW Categories.

  • Relevant  certificate  of  HGST  (Haryana  Govt  School  Topper)  

Ques: How will private institutions give Haryana BTech Admission 2023?

Ans: 25% of seats in the case of B.E./BTech & B. Arch courses are to be filled by the private institutions including leftover/ unfilled seats of online counseling to be filled by all concerned institutes at their own level. The process will be told by the institution. All the institutions shall make these admissions before the final cut-off date of admissions and no institute shall be allowed to make admission after the last cut-off date.

Ques: How can NRIs take Haryana BTech admission?

Ans: 15% seats may be made available to NRIs depending on the discretion of the Management subject to two conditions:

    1. Such seats should be utilized Bonafide by the NRIs only and for their children or wards.

    2. Secondly, within the quota, the merit should not be given a complete go-by.

      1. The amount of money, in whatever form collected from such NRIs, should be utilized for benefitting students such as from economically weaker sections of society, whom, on well-defined criteria, the educational institutions may admit on subsidized payment of their fee.

      2. To prevent misuse of such quota or any malpractice referable to NRI quota seats, it will be for the committees constituted pursuant to Islamic Academy’s direction i.e. under the Chairmanship of Hon’ble Mr. Justice R.K. Nehru (Retired.) to regulate till suitable legislation or regulations are framed by the state.

Ques: How to report to the institution after securing Haryana BTech Admission 2023?
