Delhi University will prepare its Undergraduate Curriculum Framework (UGCF) as per the National Education Policy 2020. The framework will be prepared based on the NEP 2020 guidelines approved by the DU Executive Council on February 11, 2022.

As per the official statement released by DU, the UG Curriculum 2022 of the university includes two major features of NEP. The first includes the option of a multiple entry and exit scheme, called "MEES" and the second includes a multidisciplinary approach in the DU UG Courses.

Under the NEP MEES, students will have the option to exit the program at the end of the academic year. The degree will be awarded to students based on their academic scores.

As per the draft approved by DU Executive Council, students will earn a total of 176 academic scores at the end of their four-year-long undergraduate course at Delhi University.

Following the draft, students will have to earn a minimum of 50 per cent credit scores in order to receive their degree in the major disciplines. Delhi University UG Courses will be designed as per the approved DU Undergraduate Curriculum Framework (UGCF) 2022.

While talking about the DU UG Curriculum 2022, the officials said, “We are now moving to get the courses done. The work has just begun. We will put the course content up for public feedback. The process will take another three to four months”.
