DU UG Admission 2022: Over 1,700 Candidates Secured Seats in Spot Round 2 Allocation So Far


New Delhi: In Delhi University Spot Round 2 Admissions 2022, around 1,730 applicants are selected for admission to various undergraduate programmes offered by Delhi University. Shortlisted candidates can pay their fees online in relation to seats that have been assigned till December 06, 2022 (today).

As per Delhi University, admission seats were allotted to a total of 4,383 applicants during the spot-round admission process. The candidates who are assigned seats during the DU spot round will not have the ability to upgrade or withdraw their seats as the seat allocation during the spot round is final.

Informing about the admissions, the official notice reads, "It will be mandatory for the candidate to take admission to the seat allocated in a spot round. Failure to accept the allocated seat in the spot admission round will forfeit the candidate's eligibility for admission to UoD and she/he will be out of CSAS".

Earlier, on December 2, 2022, Delhi University issued the second spot admission list for its Undergraduate courses for the academic session 2022-23. At the second round of seat allocation, over 19,000 students applied for around 12,000 seats in colleges affiliated with Delhi University.

Following the data released, 4,118 candidates in total were admitted in the first round of DU spot admission 2022. Up until the third round of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS), 59,401 students had been allotted admission seats for undergraduate programmes at Delhi University colleges.

For the 2022-23 session, the university's undergraduate programmes provide a total of 70,000 admission seats. After the end of third round of the seat allocation process on November 17, 2022, the university recorded 62,231 admissions in total for UG admissions.
