New Delhi: Delhi University has released the DU second merit list 2022 for admission to UG programmes today, on October 31, 2022, on its official website @ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
Candidates can visit the official DU CSAS portal @ugadmission.uod.ac.in or du.ac.in, to check the DU UG 2nd seat allocation list, which includes various details of candidate ranks and seats assigned to them based on the programmes and colleges they have applied to.
DU has permitted the students to accept the seats allocated to them in the 2nd merit list from October 31 at 4:59 p.m. to November 1, 2022. However, If the candidates don't take their seats in the allotted period, the DU seat allocation will be cancelled.
Candidates must accept their seat before the cutoff date once a seat in a given round has been assigned. The college will then examine the uploaded documents and the candidate's eligibility.
Further, the college will review the DU UG applications on October 31 at 10 a.m. against the second merit list, and applications will close on November 2 at 5 p.m. By November 3, candidates must pay their admission costs online.
DU UG 2nd Merit List 2022: How to Check?
The DU 2nd Merit List will have the remaining seats that are left in the 1st Merit List 2022. Following are the steps to check the DU UG 2nd Merit List.
Step 1: Visit the official website of DU CSAS - ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
Step 2: On the home page, sign in using the CUET application number and password.
Step 3: It will redirect you to a login page. Enter the given captcha code, and click on the ‘Login’ button.
Step 4: Candidate portal will be opened on the screen.
Step 5: Now, check the second seat allotment and save it for future reference.

As soon as the second allocation for DU 2nd seats is released, the colleges will check the candidate's credentials. In case of any doubt, the college may raise an objection on the CSAS portal for the applicant.
This year, the programmes at Delhi University will be offered through the CUET entrance test in 2022, and the DU merit list will be prepared on the basis of the CUET results.
According to the university, approximately 59,100 students confirmed their admissions in the first round of admissions. More than 35,000 students have opted to upgrade their choices, that is these students will also be participating in the second round of admissions.
