Candidates had till Wednesday to submit their applications after the institution released a list of open seats for the Common Seat Allocation System's (CSAS) second spot round on Monday.

For the second round of admission, they have received 19,150 applications. According to Haneet Gandhi, dean of admission at Delhi University, there are 12,000 open seats in UG programmes. In the first round of seat allocation, 4,118 candidates were admitted across DU campuses.

The candidates will have a few days to accept their seats when the allocation list is made public on Friday. By December 6, they must pay the entry charge. The university's undergraduate programmes provide 70,000 seats. 60,084 students had been accepted into various courses.
