New Delhi: For students who have enrolled in full-time undergraduate and graduate programmes at the university and come from economically disadvantaged homes, the University of Delhi has developed the Financial Support Scheme (FSS). According to the university's official page, candidates who meet the requirements can apply for the programme till December 12, 2022.

DU proposed FSS for financially weak students in the spirit of the Government’s motto “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas”.
According to the official notification released by DU, students whose family annual income is less than Rs 4 lakh will get up to 100 per cent of fee relaxation. Candidates whose family income is somewhere between Rs 4 and 8 lakh will get a fee waiver of 50 per cent.
DU Financial Support Scheme: Application Process
Candidates who wish to apply for the DU Financial Support Scheme must complete an online application. Candidates must enter their contact information, course and college information, and personal information. The DU Financial Support Scheme form must be completed and submitted by December 12 (Monday) at 4 p.m.
DU Financial Support Scheme: Requirements
Students whose families earn less than INR 4 lakh annually would receive up to 100% of their tuition waived, per the official notice. A 50% fee waiver will be given to candidates whose household income is in the range of INR 4 lakh and INR 8 lakh.
DU Financial Support Scheme: Documents Needed
Candidates will need to submit a list of documents along with their application forms in order to be considered for the relaxations. The following documents are necessary to apply for the DU Financial Support Scheme:

Marksheet of the last exam passed

ITR of parents, wherever applicable,

Copies of bonafide student in Degree/Post Graduate degree course

Copies of fee receipt mentioning the amount under different heads separately

Copy of bank passbook showing the student’s name Account number, IFSC code and photograph pasted at the appropriate place

Family income certificate for the last financial year in the standard issue by Tehsildar or equivalent competent authority and per the committee’s access.
