From the academic year 2022-23, the university will be taking students on the basis of CUET 2022 scores and not their class 12 merit. But it has also clarified that if more than one student gets the same CUET score, then their class 12 score will be used as a tie-breaker.  Apart from marks, the choice of subject of the candidates will also be considered while finalizing a list.

To enhance transparency, DU has offered a real-time window for candidates where the students can view the number of candidates who have opted for a particular programme in a college. This count is updated on two hourly basis to help the candidates get real-time instantaneous data / information about the programme and college preferences that the candidates are opting for, the varsity said.

The DU first cut off list will be used to determine admission to Delhi University colleges. Additionally, by the deadline, the applicants must pay the admission cost. The DU seat allotment list is created after taking into account the total number of applicants, the programme applied for, CUET marks, the number of available seats, and other factors.

Approximately 70,000 seats in 91 affiliated universities are available each year through the DU admissions procedure 2022. Candidates will only be taken into consideration if they have achieved the DU first cut off 2022 marks for any undergraduate programme in their desired college. Check Delhi University Courses & Fees
