New Delhi: In the DU second merit list 2022, more than 11,600 applicants who received seats in the DU first merit list were upgraded to the college and programme of their choice. The DU 2nd merit list, which was published on October 31, has already allocated places to up to 8,133 new applicants for admission to undergraduate programmes.

33,739 individuals submitted applications for seat upgrades in DU Admission in Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) round 2 in total. Of which, higher colleges and course options were awarded to over 34%. It should be noted that the second round of allocation has begun with admittance. According to sources, 1,868 applications are being processed for admission.
The second merit admission process will end today, November 1, at 4:59 p.m. By tomorrow, November 2, 2022, DU colleges will review the application and approve the spots. After receiving college permission, candidates can pay the DU entrance fee till November 3 at 4.59 p.m.
In accordance with the plan, Delhi University will announce the list of open positions on November 4 at 5 p.m. From November 5, 10 am to November 7, 4:59 pm, the mid entry window and the opportunity to reorder higher preferences will be open.
59,100 applicants were admitted in the DU's initial round of seat distribution. 15,398 candidates have all formally accepted their seats in the preliminary round. In over 209 programmes, Delhi University is giving admission to close to 70,000 students. The majority of seats in various colleges, notably Miranda House, Hindu College, and St. Stephan College, have been filled since the DU's inaugural seat allocation.
