New Delhi: In the first spot round of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to Delhi University's 14,000 open seats in undergraduate programmes, a total of 7,146 candidates were given seats. Candidates have till November 26 to accept the offered seats. The deadline for online admission fee payments is November 27.

Between November 20 and November 22, 2022, a total of 26,221 applicants submitted spot round applications for admission to DU's UG programme in 2022. There were 14,658 applicants on the first day.
Seats allocated in a spot admission round, in contrast to regular Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) rounds, will be final. In any following round of the spot admission method, they will not be improved. Upon the announcement of the DU first spot admission 2022, the admitted students will not be permitted to cancel their admissions.
A candidate will be limited to choosing one of the open seats listed by the university under each programme. The allocations will be made in accordance with the number of available seats, program-specific merit, category, and college preference order.
Students were also admitted to all supernumerary quotas in the third round of the CSAS, including extracurricular activities (ECA), sports, children/widows of military personnel (CW), and Kashmiri migrants.
