DU Admission 2022: Around 9,504 Students have Accepted the Allocated Seats in CSAS Round 3

New Delhi: In Delhi University's (DU) third merit list for 2022, 9,504 students have accepted the seats that have been given to them. During the third round of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS), 16,231 students received course and college placements.

On November 13, DU posted the third cut-off on the website admission.uod.ac.in. Assigned seats must be accepted by today, November 15, at the latest.

In addition, DU released the first merit list for the quotas for children and widows of military personnel (CW), sports, and extracurricular activities (ECA). In the initial list, 1,212 individuals were chosen for the sports category and 2,857 candidates were chosen for the CW category, with 765 students receiving places under the ECA quota.

The relevant colleges will review the supplied materials and other program-specific eligibility requirements and approve the application when the candidate accepts the assigned seat. From November 14 to November 16, colleges can accept candidates' online applications.

The deadline for candidates to pay their application costs online is November 17. On November 20, DU will make known the open seats for the initial round of spot distribution. On November 23, the initial 2022 spot allocation list will be released. The candidate must accept the seats assigned between November 24 and November 26.

Seats assigned in a spot admission round, unlike regular CSAS rounds, will not be changed. In any following round of the spot admission method, it won't be enhanced.

The deadline for candidates to submit their admission fee online is November 27. The admittance of already admitted applicants will be locked at the announcement of the first slot admission round, and they will not be taken into consideration for upgrades (except from supernumerary upgrades), the official stated.

In the second round of seat distribution, about 15,500 students were enrolled to undergraduate programmes at Delhi University colleges. Over 23,000 candidates chose to upgrade seats after the second merit list, the official had stated, while over 30,500 students who were assigned to programmes across the university's colleges have frozen their seats. Also submitted to the institution were 1,008 applications for mid-entry.
