DSEU Collabs with Mercedes-Benz for Advanced Diploma Program; Details Here


The Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) has officially signed an agreement with Mercedes-Benz India to offer an advanced diploma in automotive mechatronics. It has been notified that the admissions for the one-year diploma are likely to be open in September 2021. 

The Mercedes Benz company will extend the apprenticeship and placement support to the students of the programme at DSEU, as a part of the agreement. 

The Vice president, customer services and corporate affairs, Mercedes-Benz, Shekhar Bhide said that the diploma course curriculum will include training in electronic and electrical technology embedded systems, advanced automobile systems engineering, that will assist a holistic development of the students. 

It was notified that even trainers will be benefited from the course with capacity building exercises. Both the students and trainers of the course will have to attend the guests, go on field visits and be encouraged to enrol for apprenticeships.

Neharika Vohra, DSEU Vice Chancellor, said that the faculty and students would greatly benefit from the course as they'd get insights of the field from an entirely new perspective. 

Further, a lot of students have dreamt of designing and developing their own cars from their childhood. However, the dream never gets fulfilled. With the help of this partnership, the university desires to provide a platform for the students to achieve their dreams while also assisting them in becoming future entrepreneurs and leaders, she concluded.
