New Delhi: Dr YSR University of Health Sciences has recently announced the addition of two new colleges for BSc Nursing and BSc Paramedical Technology for the academic year 2022-23. Both courses have an additional college each and the seat matrix has been also been released.
As per Dr YSR University of Health Sciences, the universities that have been added are Dr Sowmya College of Nursing, Guntur and KIMS College of Paramedical Courses, Amalapuram. With this, there are 111 total seats available for BSc Nursing and BSc Paramedical Technology courses.
The newly established colleges will offer BSc courses; BSc in Nursing at Dr Sowmya College of Nursing, Guntur and BSc in Emergency Medical Technology, BSc in Cardio Vascular Technology & Cardiac Care Technology, and BSc Renal Dialysis Technology at KIMS College of Paramedical Courses in Amalapuram.

To apply for BSc Nursing admission, candidates must meet the minimum age for entrance is 17 years old, and the upper age restriction is 35 years old. They also must have passed 10+2 Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and English.
Additionally, candidates with 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from recognised boards under AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE/ SSCE/ HSCE/NIOS/APOSS or other equivalent Boards are also eligible to apply for the admission process.
While for BSc in Paramedical Technology, candidates must have completed 17 years of age and passed Intermediate (10+2) with Botany, Zoology, Physics, and Chemistry or Inter vocational with Bridge Course of Biological and Physical Sciences (or) APOSS with Biological Sciences and Physical Sciences
Dr YSR University of Health Sciences was established in 1986. The late N.T. Ramao served as the university's first chancellor. In its associated institutions, the university offers a variety of Undergraduate, Graduate, Postgraduate, Super Speciality, PhD, and PDF Courses in various disciplines.
The degrees granted by the institution are recognised by professional statutory organisations such as the Indian Nursing Council, Central Council of Indian Medicine, Central Council of Homoeopathy, and the Medical Council of India.
