New Delhi: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) has released the round 2 counselling schedule for MBBS and BDS admission on its official website.

The DME Tamil Nadu released the schedule for round 2 NEET UG Counselling 2022 schedule on its official website @https://tnmedicalselection.net/. As per the schedule, the second round of choice filling will commence from November 20 to 22, 2022.

General Instructions:
- Management Quota: Candidates who participate in online counselling for MBBS/BDS Degree Courses must pay a processing fee of Rs. 1000, which is non-refundable, as well as a security deposit of Rs. 100,000, which is refundable. It is not necessary for candidates who already paid their processing fee and security deposit during the first round of online counselling to pay again.
- There is no processing fee, security deposit, or tuition fee for students attending Tamil Nadu government schools with a 7.5% space reservation.
- Candidates should exercise caution when making their selections, and it is best to limit their selections to their top choices. Although the candidate had the option to amend their choice(s), once they had locked their selection during the online counselling, it could not be modified at a later time.
- Candidates are not required to participate in the second round of online counselling if they want to keep the college they were assigned in the first round.
- According to the Minority Merit List, Minority Seats under the Management Quota will be given to Eligible Minority Candidates. If there are any open Minority seats in SF Page 3 of 5 MBBS or BDS, those positions shall be filled in accordance with the General Management Rank List. Therefore, for Management and Minority Seats, all candidates may also register and select a lock.
- For eligible SCA/ST candidates, seats from the government quota will be allocated in the order of merit. The SC CANDIDATES will fill any open SCA/ST seats in the SF MBBS/BDS and IRT wards that are not filled from the Merit List. Please be aware that applicants who qualify for SC category and Open and SC category seats may also register and select a lock for SCA/ST seats in SF MBBS/BDS and IRT wards.
- NRI Quota - A candidate cannot claim a seat in Round-II NRI counselling if they are receiving or keeping a seat in the Government Quota of the MBBS/BDS course in Round-II online counselling.
- If a candidate declines to enrol in any medical or dental schools during Round 1 of the counselling process, they will not be able to reapply for those seats in those schools during Round 2 of the counselling process due to choice locking.
- A candidate cannot claim a seat in Round- II of the NRI counselling if they receive or keep a seat in the Management Quota of the MBBS/BDS course in Round- II of the online counselling.
- Without further notice, the candidates' selection and admission will be revoked if they fail to report to the Head of the Institution they have been assigned by the time and date stated.
- The candidate who has been chosen for admission should fill out a self-declaration form when reporting to the relevant college, stating that they are subject to losing their selection or admission if a suppression of facts or misinterpretation is discovered at any point before, during, or following their admission to the course.
Available Seats For Round 2:
- Seats that were not allocated in Round 1
- Seats left vacant as a result of the candidate(s) who was/were assigned in Round 1 not joining or resigning.
- Seats are open because the candidate(s) who were assigned and joined during Round 1 (Virtual Vacancy) have upgraded.
Eligible Candidates For Round 2:
- Candidates who registered and made a choice in Round 1 but were unsuccessful in receiving seats.
- Candidates who enrolled in a medical or dental college during the first round of allocation.
- Candidates who did not take their seat during Round 1 of the competition.
- Participants in Round 1 who joined and left their seats.
InEligible Candidates For Round 2:
- Applicants who did not register for the first round of online counselling.
- Candidates whose names appear on the joined list that MCC provided following All India Round 2.
Instructions For Downloading Allotment Order -
- The fee structure is available at the official websites @www.tnhealth,tn.gov.in and www.tnmedicalselection.org .
- In order to download the provisional allotment order, the selected candidate must pay the tuition fee, as determined by the fee committee, online with a debit card, credit card, net banking, or RTGS.
- Only the difference (if any) must be paid by the chosen candidates who already paid the tuition fee in round I of the online counselling.
- Before sending their payment, all candidates should make sure there is enough transaction limit available for their fee payment.
- The selected candidates must download their provisional allotment order and enrol in the programme at the relevant medical college or institution by the deadline indicated in the provisional allotment order, which is usually the specified date and time.

NRI Candidate's Documents:
Following are the documents to be submitted by the NRI Candidates.
- OCI card or NRI status of the financial supporter issued by the Indian Embassy of the relevant country
- A valid Indian passport for the NRI financial supporter, and a Ward Certificate of Relationship between the NRI financial supporter and the candidate attested by the NRI country's Notary Public or other competent authority.
- The financial supporter's NRE (Non-Resident External) Bank Account Pass Book.
