New Delhi: The Director of Medical Education (DME Chhattisgarh) has notified about the stray vacancy round for PG Medical and PG Dental admission for the academic session 2023-24.

Candidates must note that the merit list issued through mail on December 2, 2022, 11:59 pm will not be considered valid. A total of 375 candidates are remaining in the merit list of NEET PG so the merit is being issued as admission rule 2021 (rule 11).
NEET PG - Some seats are converted to the SC/ST/UR category after the change of seats, or the seats are converted to SC/ST/UR without grade conversion if such seats were allocated in the mop up round but the candidates have not accepted admission.
In this case, the seats are still available in the reserved category. For the allocation of these seats, Chhattisgarh Admission Rule 2021 (Rules Nos. 7 and 8) must be followed. The institution level must complete the stray vacancy round.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have qualified for NEET-PG /NEET MDS 2022.
- Candidates must be citizens of India.
- Candidates must have passed MBBS/BDS from a recognized medical/dental college.
NEET PG 2022/NEET MDS 2022 is the eligibility-cum-ranking examination for admission to various MD/MS/PG Diploma/MDS courses of the academic session 2022-23. There'd be no other entrance exam considered for admission to the courses. Both the NEET PG 2022/NEET MDS 2022 exams are conducted once a year.
The NEET MDS and NEET PG counselling is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education. NEET MDS and NEET PG 2022 are used as the basis for admissions. The candidates' choices, reservations, state merit rank, NEET MDS/NEET PG 2022 scores, and other factors are taken into consideration when allocating seats.
DME Chhattisgarh is the administrative organisation, and is in charge of the state's medical and dental colleges. It is essential for training medical and paramedical staff to meet the State's healthcare needs. Another area of focus for the Medical Education Department is the research.
