DME Chhattisgarh BDS Admission 2023-25 Open; Last Date to Apply is December 28

New Delhi: The Director of Medical Education (DME Chhattisgarh) has begun the online applications for BDS admission for the academic session 2023-24. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @https://www.cgdme.in/.

DME Chhattisgarh is the administrative body that oversees Medical education in the state through Medical and dental colleges. Candidates seeking admission to the BDS programme can submit their applications till December 28, 2023. Admission to the BDS programme will be based on NEET UG score followed by counselling and other criteria.

DME Chhattisgarh BDS Admission 2023: Highlights 

According to the notice, the DME Chhattisgarh opened the application window as few candidates had petitioned the court to open the application window.

DME Chhattisgarh BDS Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be citizens of India.
• Candidates must not be less than 17 years old on or before 31st December 2022.
• Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as their core subjects.
• Candidates must be NEET UG qualified.

DME Chhattisgarh BDS Admission 2023: Selection Process

• Candidate's admissions to the BDS programmes are based on NEET UG. The seat allotment is done based on the choices filled by candidates, reservation, state merit rank, NEET UG marks, and other factors.
• The counseling process for BDS admission is conducted by DME only. 

DME Chhattisgarh BDS Admission 2023: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of DME Chhattisgarh @https://www.cgdme.in/

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.

Post the mop-up round for the stay-round vacant seats, the DME should receive the list of candidates. Candidates applying fresh will not have the option of choice filling.

Recently the mop-up round for BDS admission concluded. The last date for allotted candidates to join was December 18. The admission process for MBBS was carried out at Shri Balaji Medical College Raipur, Raipur Institute of Medical Science, Raipur, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Smriti Chikitsa Mahavidyalaya Raipur, and Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Medical Sciences Bhilai.
