DME Assam Begins Admission for Paramedical Courses in Government Colleges; Apply till Feb 28

New Delhi: Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam is inviting applications to admission in Paramedical courses in Institute of Paramedical Sciences attached to Assam Government Medical Colleges. Candidates can submit the online application form at dme.assam.gov.in.

As per DME Assam, candidates who wish to apply for Paramedical courses offered by Assam Government Medical Colleges must have passed the class 12th examination with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. The last date to apply for the admission process is February 28, 2023.

In order to be qualified for DME Assam Paramedical courses admissions, interested candidates need to fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

• Candidates need to be a citizen of India and he/she must be permanent residents of Assam.
• Candidates must have passed the class 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the major subjects.
• They must have scored at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST Category students).
• The age of the candidates must lie between 17 to 24.
• Those who do not meet the requirements will not be considered for admission seats. 
• Selection will be done on the basis of marks secured in the class 12th examination.

• Shortlisted candidates will be called for a counselling round for the final selection.
