The course is having 44 seats, is open for male and female candidates. 22 seats are available at Karnataka Handloom Technology Institute, Gadag-Betageri, 17 at Indian Handloom Technology Institute, Salem, Tamil Nadu, and three at SPKM Indian Handloom Technology Institute, Venkatagiri, Andhra Pradesh and two at Indian Handloom Technology Institute, Kannur, Kerala.

Diploma in Handloom and Textiles Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria, Selection Process
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who have passed the SSLC exam along with English as a subject are eligible to apply. The age limit for general category candidates is 15 to 23 years while for SC and ST community candidates, it is 15 to 25 years.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the entrance examination marks. Selected candidates will receive a stipend of 2500 INR as a monthly scholarship.
