New Delhi: Delhi University (DU) will launch its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for admission to undergraduate courses on Monday, September 12, 2022. With this, DU UG Admission 2022 process will start for all candidates on the basis of CUET UG 2022 scores.

As per Delhi University, the admission process for the 2022-23 academic session will be done through the CSAS portal in three phases, which will include submission of application forms, selection of programs and filling of preferences, and seat allocation process.
To apply for Delhi University UG Admission 2022, candidates are required to have a valid score in qualifying entrance examinations; CUET 2022. The exam scores will be required in the second phase of admissions, which will only begin after the declaration of CUET Results 2022.
Informing about the DU UG Admission 2022 process, the university stated that those candidates who wish to apply for admission to UG courses in DU-affiliated colleges will have to confirm the program-specific CUET UG 2022 merit score for their selected programs.
The final selection of applicants will be based on the merit list issued by the university and seats will be alloted to registered candidates accordingly. For this year, the admissions will only be based on CUET UG 2022 scores and not on marks secured in the class 12th examination.
Earlier, Delhi University was preparing to launch the admission portal in the last week of August 2022. It further directed students to prepare a copy of the important certificates and documents required for DU UG Admission 2022 and keep them ready by August 31, 2022.
The university has also released the list of documents required for DU Admissions 2022 on its official website, at du.ac.in, which includes passing certificates of class 12th and class 10th, category certificates, income certificates, and other required disability certifications if applicable.
The UGC had announced that admission to all central and state universities in the country will now be done only through marks secured in CUET 2022. Soon after the announcement, all CUET 2022 scores accepting colleges started the admission process for upcoming sessions.
Earlier, NTA concluded the CUET UG 2022 on September 08, 2022. The exam was initially scheduled to be held in six phases till August 20, 2022. However, it was further delayed due to various issues. The result for the same will now be declared on September 15, 2022.
