New Delhi: Delhi University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ICT Academy to offer various skill-based and employment-based programs to students for the academic session 2022-23. The agreement was signed on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.
As per Delhi University, these courses were offered to students in collaboration with NCWEB, Delhi University Computer Center, and ICT Academy. Six students who have completed the courses have received placement offers from reputed organizations in various fields.
The MoU was signed between the university registrar Vikas Gupta and head of ICT Academy Raghav Shriniwas. During the event, the university awarded certificates to NCWEB students who have successfully completed 75 hours of banking and financial literacy courses.
In addition to this, Delhi University is also planning to offer various value-addition DU Courses on the art of happiness, emotional intelligence, and Indian literature to interested students from the academic session of 2022-23. These courses will be offered under the UGCF 2022.
Informing about DU Courses 2022, the officials said, "The courses include different elements like critical thinking, compassion, collaboration, scientific temperament, Indian knowledge systems, ethical, cultural, and constitutional principles, and creative writing".
"A reputable university like the DU has never before offered these courses. They will transform the way social interaction is done," he further added. Through these courses, students will earn credits that will be added to their Academic Bank of Credits.
Meanwhile, DU launched the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for Delhi University UG Admissions 2022 on September 12, 2022. Interested candidates can now apply for admissions by submitting their applications through the official website till October 03, 2022.
To apply for DU UG Admissions 2022 through CSAS, candidates need to have class 12th qualifications from any recognized examination board. Applicants are advised to go through the detailed admission brochure available at du.ac.in before submitting their applications.
