New Delhi: The Dental Council of India (DCI) has informed through a notice that the screening test for PG Dental qualified candidates is scheduled for February 13, 2023.
According to the notice, the PG dental qualified applicants who applied to the DCI in the previous year to appear in the screening test for recognition of their foreign PG dental qualification but failed the examinations or were absent and want to reapply in the screening test can apply to the DCI by January 27, 2023.
The National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, will receive the list of qualified candidates so that they can show up for the screening exam. The applicants must deposit Rs. 10,000 plus 18% GST via NEFT or IMPS into the council's savings account. The bank details are enclosed in the DCI notice.
The DCI will also give separate notice to the qualified candidates. The DCI Screening Test Regulations, which are available on the DCI website at http://dciindia.gov.in for the DCI Screening Test Examination curriculum, must be read by all eligible applicants who have been proclaimed by the DCI.
All the applicants who are qualified to take the screening test will receive their admission cards immediately from the National Board of Examinations.

A Parliamentary Act established the Dental Council of India to oversee the dental profession and uphold the nation's highest standards for dental education. The DCI has a legal and ethical obligation to take the necessary actions to uphold the best standards of dental education in the nation.
Any dental certification issued by a person, organisation, or institution is not valid unless and until it complies with the requirements of the DCI Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder, as well as the relevant provisions of Sections 10,10A, and 10B of the 1948 Dentists Act.
