New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the registration window for Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2022. Interested candidates can now apply till May 31, 9 pm at the official website – cuet.samarth.ac.in
Earlier, the NTA had closed the application window for the Common University Entrance Exam (CUET) UG Exam 2022 on May 22, 2022. Following the closing up of registrations, several students raised requests on twitter to extend the deadline for registration.
NTA was accepting applications for CUET UG 2022 from May 6 to May 22, 2022 which has now been extended to May 31, 2022 till 9 pm.
With the closure of application window, many students have complained about not being able to register due to technical and personal reasons.
One of the students while urging the NTA tweeted, "Requesting @DG_NTA CUET computer side is not working please extend the time for 3 more hours please. I am filling the form of CUET, the site of the computer has stopped, thus increase the time of 3 hours You are requested to extend the time of 3 hours please."

While another student belonging from Assam informed the authority that some students have not been able to apply for the exam due to the floods in the state as well as ongoing Class 12th Board Exam. The student requested to open the window for some hours and accept the plea.

Students have been trending hashtags around CUET including #extenddateforcuet #cuetdeadlineextension to make up for their loss of not being able to register.
Following the demands of students, NTA has reopened the window once again for students to give them extra time to apply for the common entrance exam for ug courses.
Candidates who have successfully completed the application process will be able to make correction in their form till the deadline May 31, 2022. It is advisable for candidates to check their CUET form and make necessary edits if required in the form. Following the closure of edit window, candidates will be no longer able to make changes.
CUET UG 2022: How to Apply?
Students could visit the official website to register for CUET 2022 exam and follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Students can get the application form online at, cuet.samarth.ac.in.
Step 2: For fresh registrations, follow the information bulletin.
Step 3: Add all personal details, address and security pin. After registrations are complete, log in with the credentials
Step 4: Fill in all the asked essential details in the form.
Step 5: Attach the scanned images of the photograph and signature with the application form.
Step 6: Click on submit and pay the application fee through an online or offline method.
Step 7: Students could get a printout of the filled application form for future reference.
