New Delhi: NTA has received over 1.27 lakh applications for CUET 2022 in the first week of the registration process. The CUET 2022 application portal was opened on April 6. Candidates can fill and submit the CUET application form 2022 till May 6.

As per the report, around 1,27,037 candidates applied for the CUET 2022 in the first week of the registration procedure. The state of Uttar Pradesh had the highest number of applicants (36,611), followed by Delhi (23,418), Bihar (12,275), Haryana (7,859), West Bengal (4,496), Madhya Pradesh (4,402), and Rajasthan (3,886).
Kerala got the most CUET 2022 applications (3,987) among India's southern states, followed by Tamil Nadu (2,143), Telangana (1,807), Andhra Pradesh (1022), and Karnataka (901). Whereas Assam (2,485) and Tripura (1,134) had the largest number of applications among northeastern states.
The lowest number of applications belong to Lakshadweep (5), Daman and Diu (27), Goa (42), Sikkim (74) and Andaman and Nicobar Islands (84).
The CUET 2022 entrance exam will be used by 44 central universities and 18 other universities to give admission to the UG programmes this year.
The CUET 2022 entrance exam will be held in two shifts in the first and second weeks of July. Slot 1 will be of 195 minutes, while Slot 2 will be 225 minutes. The exam will be administered in 13 languages in 547 cities in India and 13 places outside India.
The CUET 2022 question paper will include a language exam, an optional language test, domain-specific tests, and a general test. Students who are interested in applying can go to the official website- cuet.samarth.edu.
