CLAT 2021: Exam Rescheduled to Avoid Clash with CBSE Exam Dates, Read Details Here


The Consortium of National Law Universities(NLU) has taken the decision to postpone the CLAT 2021 Exam to 13th June 2021. Earlier it was scheduled to be held on 9th May 2021. The decision was taken to avoid a clash with CBSE Board Examination 2021 dates starting from May 4, 2021. 

On 6th January 2021, at the Consortium’s Executive Committee meeting the decision to postpone the exam was taken in view of the student’s ease. The consortium has published a detailed notification confirming the postponement of CLAT 2021 Exam .

Online applications have started; candidates who are willing to appear for CLAT 2021 exam can visit the website @clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in

The official notification published on January 6 stated,’The date for CLAT 2021 has been rescheduled to Sunday, the 13th June, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The UG and LLM exams shall be conducted on this date’

CLAT 2021 would be 2 hour examination . Applicants have to attempt a total of 150 objective type questions from legal reasoning, logical reasoning, English, quantitative techniques, and current affairs.
