New Delhi: Central Institute of Fisheries, Nautical & Engineering Training is currently accepting applications for its BFSc(NS), VNC and MFC programmes for the academic year 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, cifnet.gov.in. The last date to apply is June 20, 2022.
CIFNET courses are in the discipline of fisheries and animal husbandry, offering undergraduate and trade courses. For professional students, the institute also provides lateral entry, short term and training programmes.
Admissions to CIFNET are based on the Common Entrance Test (CET). Candidates also need to complete 10 + 2 with 50% in all subjects of PCB/PCM to be eligible for the Bachelor of Fishery Science programme. And for the Vessel Navigator and Marine Fitter Course candidates should complete class 10 with 40% in Maths and Science separately.

CIFNET Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

CIFNET Admission 2022: Selection Process
- Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the CET entrance exam.
- The final selection is based on the overall performance in the entrance exam and past academic performance.
- The selected candidates for VNC/MFC will be paid INR 1500 per month as a stipend.
- And on completion of Post Institutional Training will be offered a stipend of INR 20500 per month and a one-time uniform allowance of INR 2500.

- Visit the official application portal of CIFNET, at cifnet.gov.in.
- Go to admission and then click on the application form link from the window that appears.
- Download the CIFNET 2022 form and then fill in the required details.
- Candidates have to send this application form in an envelope to the prescribed address mentioned in the form.
