New Delhi: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final provisional answer key for JEE Main 2023 Phase 1 Exam for BTech and BE papers on February 06, 2023 (today). In the answer key released, NTA has dropped 5 questions and rectified answers for 2 questions.
As per NTA, candidates who appeared for the exam and wish to check the final provisional key of BTech and BE paper of JEE Main 2023 Session 1 can do so by visiting the official website of the exam authority at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Following the JEE Main 2023 Final Provisional Answer Key, the second shift question ID 7155051689 of mathematics subject has been dropped from January 25 Exam and Question ID 3666942082 has been dropped from January 29 first shift exam (chemistry subject).
In addition, Question ID 3666942528 from shift 1 chemistry, 7155051232 from shift 2 mathematics and 7155051248 from shift 2 mathematics has been dropped from February 01, 2023 exam day. No marks will be awarded to applicants for dropped questions.

JEE Main 2023 Phase 1 Answers Rectified
This year, NTA has dropped a total of five questions. In mathematics, all questions were dropped with one exception. While one question had a different answer for English and Hindi papers. The questions have been dropped from mathematics and chemistry subjects.
In addition to this, National Testing Agency (NTA) has rectified answers for the below-mentioned questions:

According to the statement released by NTA in 2022, “if none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be wrong or a question is dropped then percent equivalence is to be established on the remaining questions whether attempted or not attempted".
The statement is only applicable to those questions which are in MCQ form. For numerical value questions, four marks (+4) will be awarded to candidates who have attempted the questions. For more details, interested candidates can visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
