CBSE Teams Up with Microsoft to Offer ‘Industry Engagement & Technology Exposure Programme’

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has teamed up with Microsoft to offer a programme for the CBSE students called "Industry Engagement and Technology Exposure."

According to the CBSE circular, Microsoft through its Global Learning Partners would be conducting several virtual sessions on technology exposure and industry interaction for students throughout November and December 2022.

CBSE, Microsoft's ‘Industry Engagement & Technology Exposure Programme’: Highlights 

The five-day training will be delivered online and the teachers can enrol students on their behalf via the website at cbse.gov.in. 

The programme training will take place this month from November 12 to November 22. The programme for the students will be offered between December 1 and December 10, 2022. 

The CBSE students will receive orientation on a variety of topics, including technical fields, motivational industry speakers, career insights, entrepreneurship, and practical exposure to putting their ideas into practice. Upon successful completion of the programme, the participants will receive programme certification. 

According to the CBSE Board, the students will get tasks and mini-challenges for engagement and continual assessment during the programme. At the conclusion of the programme, they will turn in their projects. They will also get the chance to take part in competitions on coding and AI applications at the national and international levels. 

The Industry Engagement and Technology Exposure Program will cover technology exposure, including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and analytics, as well as coding and its applications, insights and lessons learned from practitioners' career paths, entrepreneurship—from idea to reality—and implementing creative solutions.
