CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Maths Exam 2022 Concluded; Check Student's Reactions, Marking Scheme, Answer Key Here

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has successfully concluded the CBSE Class 12 Maths Term 2 Exam 2022, today, June 7 at 12.30 pm.

Students had two hours to finish the CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Maths exam 2022, plus an additional 15 minutes to study the question paper. As per the students’ reaction, the Maths paper was easy. There was nothing out of the syllabus. Many questions were directly taken from the NCERT books. 

Case-based, situation-based, and open-ended-short and lengthy answers will be included in the term 2 CBSE 12th exam 2022. The next CBSE Board 12th examination for Tourism, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration, and Salesmanship will be held on June 9, 2022.

The CBSE sample paper for Class 12 Mathematics was very student-friendly, and it followed the same format as the sample paper. Overall, the CBSE paper appeared to be moderately challenging and well-balanced. Section A of 2 Mark's was relatively easy. 

The integration sums were a little complex, therefore students with a thorough understanding of the concepts and formulas will be able to get good marks. Overall, it was a very standard paper with few questions of moderate difficulty level, said Nilutpal Bora, PGT- Mathematics, Modern English School, Guwahati.

He further said, "The applied maths paper was quite average. Most of the financial Mathematics questions and time series questions were direct. However, some students may face problems in the calculus part. But overall, the students who have practised sincerely and with good conceptualized knowledge will score good marks. The paper was a bit lengthy, especially the four-mark questions."

CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Maths Exam 2022: Marking Scheme

• The question paper is divided into three sections- A, B and C.
• Section A comprises 6 questions with 2 marks each. Internal choice has been provided in two questions.
• Section B comprises 4 questions of 3 marks each. Internal choice has been provided in one question.
• Section C comprises 4 questions. It contains one case study based question. Internal choice has been provided in one question.
