New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has successfully concluded the CBSE Class 12 History Term 2 Exam 2022, today, June 10 at 12.30 pm.

Students had two hours to finish the CBSE Class 12 Term 2 History exam 2022, plus an additional 15 minutes to study the question paper. The question paper was divided into 4 sections - A, B, C and D. As per the students’ reactions, the History paper was easy.
In Sections A and B, questions with short and long answers type were there. Students were given case study-based questions to attempt beginning in Section C. Map work-based questions were in Section D. Students would be given marks out of 40 for the CBSE Class 12 History question paper.

CBSE Class 12 Term 2 History Exam 2022: Students' Reaction
Students who appeared for the CBSE Class 12 History Exam 2022 today shared their experience. As per the majority of them, the paper was relatively easier than they were expecting. One of the students stated, “The questions were to the points and mainly based on NCERT which was nice to see. I would say it was an easy paper to do”.
As per experts, the questions were mostly from the Class 12 NCERT Books, and therefore students would have found it easy to complete.
Jonali Das, Principal, Modern English School, Guwahati said, "The question paper consists of common and easy questions. It was more analytical and application-based. The case-based question was good and appropriate. The exam’s pattern and difficulty level were matching with the sample paper provided by CBSE. The language of the question paper was student-friendly and comfortable. Map question was also easy and could be answered properly by the students. Students feel satisfied after appearing for the exam."
"The Class XII Term II History board exam was along the expected lines. The paper was quite balanced and the syllabus was covered well. The questions were drafted to test the knowledge as well as the application capability of students. There was particular emphasis on descriptive-type questions. The map question was simple. The paper evenly featured questions from all chapters. Some students found the paper a little lengthy. I’m confident that students who prepared well would score well," said Ms Chinmaya Chauhan, PGT History from Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Ghaziabad.
CBSE Class 12 Term 2 History Exam 2022: Marking Scheme
- The question paper was divided into four sections- A, B, C and D.
- Section A comprised short answer type questions of 3 marks each. The answers were to be written in 80 words.
- Section B comprised long answer-type questions of 6 marks each. The answer to these questions should not exceed 150-200 words.
- Section C had case-based questions, carrying 4 marks each with subparts.
- Section D questions were carrying 2 marks.
