Candidates should have qualified for any of the following examinations and hold a valid fellowship at the time of the Interview: Joint CSIR / UGC NET-JRF (NET-LS not eligible), DST-INSPIRE, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, or any other equivalent fellowship valid for a period of 5 years.

• Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in qualifying exams. 
• Shortlisted candidates then have to appear for personal interview rounds.
